Dear ,
Welcome to the first edition of our Inside newsletter, your guide to CPhI/ICSE Japan 2008. This issue will inform you about the practical aspects of your attendance at the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Centre from 9-11 April. The second issue, scheduled for the beginning of March, will give you a glimpse of the features and innovations at the event.
CPhI/ICSE Japan 2008
CPhI/ICSE Japan 2008 will be the meeting place for both the Japanese industry and overseas visitors who want to begin or continue to build profitable business partnerships in the growing Japanese pharmaceutical market. This year the exhibition will, among others, include an Excipients pavilion, a China pavilion, a Korean pavilion, a UK pavilion and a testing & analysis zone. For more information about our exhibitors please click here.
Do you need a visa?
If you need a visa to enter Japan and require documentation to authenticate your application, please contact us at visitor@cphijapan.com. Please make sure you start your preparations on time; the visa application will take at least 3 weeks. For more information about Japanese visa, please visit www.mofa.go.jp.
Have you made your travel arrangements?
JTB Global Marketing and Travel Inc, the officially appointed accommodation agent for CPhI/ICSE 2008, has reached agreements with a number of hotels and offers a booking service to visitors attending the exhibition. We strongly recommend you to make your bookings as early as possible to secure your accommodation. Click here for contact details. To find out how to get to Tokyo Big Sight, click here.
What would you like to eat?
In previous years many attendees have asked us for advice on where to dine in Tokyo. We recommend that you arrange your dinners in advance, as it might be difficult to find nice restaurants just by walking around. At www.bento.com you can search for restaurants by neighbourhood, kitchen or by restaurant type. Phone numbers are included, so you can immediately book your preferred restaurant (please add the country and city code to the phone numbers, +81-3-).
Finally, do not forget to remind your colleagues to register in advance. Pre-registering does not only guarantee FREE entry to the exhibition, but if your colleagues pre-register before 28 March, they will also receive their visitor badge prior to the event.
Kind regards,
The CPhI/ICSE Japan team
